Clothing to Send

Your memory bear is made from clothing that is special to you. You can send baby clothes, children's clothes or clothing that belonged to someone you love.

Please avoid sending very delicate or slippery fabrics, such as satin, silk or similar materials, as they can be more difficult to work with and sew securely.

For the best results, we recommend choosing sturdy, everyday fabrics such as cotton, jersey, denim or fleece.

Baby clothing: We recommend sending around 10–15 pieces, as baby clothes are smaller and more fabric may be needed to make your bear.

Children's clothing: Around 5–8 pieces is usually a good amount, depending on the size of the clothing.

Adult clothing: 1–2 larger items may be enough. Sometimes one larger item is all that is needed, which can make the finished bear even more personal and meaningful.

The more clothing you are able to send, the more of your special pieces we can use in your bear.

If there is not enough suitable fabric to complete the bear, I may need to use a small amount of additional fabric from my own collection. I will carefully choose fabric that complements the colours and patterns of your clothing, so the finished bear looks natural and harmonious.

Please make sure the clothing is clean and in good condition. If you are unsure whether something is suitable, please get in touch before sending it.

Your Order

Once your order has been placed, I will provide you with the details you need to send your clothing to me.

Once your clothing arrives at my studio, your bear will be added to my production queue. Please allow approximately 3–4 weeks from the date your clothing arrives at my studio for your memory bear to be carefully handmade.

If you need your bear by a specific date, please get in touch before placing your order and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

Before I Start

Before I begin making your bear, I will carefully look through the clothing and plan how the different pieces will be used.

If there is anything I need to check with you, I will contact you before starting.

Sending Your Clothing

You are responsible for the cost of sending your clothing to me. I recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping your tracking information until your clothing has arrived safely.

Once your memory bear is finished, it will be carefully packaged and sent back to you using a tracked delivery service.

Any larger pieces of clothing that are not used can be returned with your finished bear if you would like them back.
